The apartment is very modern and clean, with great kitchen facilities and a nice shower. It feels fresh, stylish, and well-maintained. There’s also a lovely outdoor space where you can sit and enjoy a meal. Supermarkets are conveniently close by. The owner was very attentive and helpful — he gave us lots of great recommendations, including where to go on the beach, which thermal gardens to visit, and even suggested a local hairdresser. He also arranged a scooter for us at a reasonable extra cost, which made getting around much easier.

The only downside is that the apartment is located uphill, so getting there on foot — especially in hot weather — can be quite exhausting. I hadn’t realised this when booking. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Ischia by car or planning to rent a car or scooter during their stay.

I booked, and paid more money for the two bedroom unit. Three days before our stay, Massimo messaged me asking if I wanted to stay in the “superior apartment” because it “has a window in the bedroom” (?). I stated that I was confirmed for the two bedroom and wanted to stay in the unit with two beds and two rooms. When we arrived, the owner was out of town so his friends let us in. We were placed in the one bedroom unit, with someone else clearly occupying the two bedroom next door. When asked for a solution to the problem Massimo offered no options, nor any remorse for clearly misleading us. He originally agreed to a refund but has not complied. I had to go through booking.com to get any sort of compensation. Other things to note: It is not easily accessible by foot. Car or scooter definitely necessary. Bus system only moderately reliable. Washer shared between units.
