Neighbourly Nest

The host was very hospitable. She accommodated me at her home when I arrived earlier than the check in time. She’s super friendly. Not only her but her daughters too. The facilities have all the basic necessities you would need for a stay, especially for the price. There’s a fridge, microwave, working water dispenser, cooking stove, kitchen utensils, WiFi, tv, self contained bathroom and toilet, hot water, balcony, small desk and ceiling fan. You get Value for the money you paid.

The location of the property is good but the surroundings aren’t that great. There’s a garage right in front of the property which makes it quite hidden and looks a bit unkept but if you look past that, you will be fine.

The property is old, but maintained the support team was good unfortunately they didn’t have any hot water so the showers we had to boil water. The location is in a very urban area so can be quite noisy. The manager was accommodating.

Hot water for showers unfortunately there wasn’t any so we had to make it on our own by boiling water on the stove.

Lovely communication with the owner, great location and clean and comfortable.

Arrival felt dodgy. A guy at the gas station across the road checked us in and we had no idea who he was.

The owner is welcoming and very kind. We arrived late and she waited for us. The place is neat and close to restaurants too.

Phenny was a great host. Her comms were super responsive, she put me in touch with an excellent driver and sorted out a transfer to/from Diani and she came to meet when I arrived. She also upgraded me to another place so I can't actually comment on the place I booked through booking.com.

kitchen facilities available for use. good communication by host. clean. affordable.

hard to find. close to road, so it was noisy because we had windows open due to the heat. bathroom window wasn't private, curtains were see through. parking was difficult (shared car park) had to move throughout night for other people who wanted to move their car.

Owner was very kind and organised a very early Tuktuk for us.

Was a little hard to find originally. But was fine once we were in. You pay for what you get.

The room was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Also the stuff was very nice and friendly and they gave me a lot of good advice.

Getting into the property was a bit difficult, it was inside the building which didn’t look like a tourist hotel.
