Appena fuori dalla Medina, appartamento confortevole e pulito. Proprietario disponibile e sorridente. Lavatrice disponibile (a pagamento)... servizio provvidenziale in un lungo viaggio come il nostro!

Young Ali was friendly. HIs mother sent him to meet me and he filled in the paperwork; passport details etc.The area had just experienced severe cold weather and the front door no longer closed properly so Ali explained his dad and a workman would come to fix it. They did so almost immediately and his dad also brought me an extra blanket for the bed, as the apartment has no insulation and is freezing in winter. Other hosts have given me small heaters. Not this family, sadly. I liked the layout of the apartment although the current decor does not match the photos on the site. The shower was good, but I had to wait a while for it to be hot as I think the boiler is at the top of the building and the apartment is on the ground floor. I asked for a few kitchen things; a lid for a pan, a cloth to clean the sink etc and Ali brought everything within a fair time. The flat was spotlessly clean and the kitchen equipment, modern as was the bathroom.

I was surprised Ali's parents sent him to welcome me, as he's just a teenager. Again, as in the place opposite owned by the same family, (Chez Khadija et Franz) I did not feel welcome as a female solo traveller. I had the sense the hosts prefer men who eat out, rather than women who cook for themselves. The bedroom door opens on to a small inner courtyard at the base of the house, which has several stories. I'm sure in the Summer it's lovely but, in Winter, this adds to the bedroom being freezing cold, as there is zero insulation. It's like sleeping outside, or in a fridge! A heater would have made all the difference, but these people are cash greedy which perhaps explains why they don't provide one.

Loved it! My second time staying in these apartments (first time was with the terrace a year ago) and my review remains unchanged. Clean, safe for solo, convenient and good for relaxing and living like a local. I prefer to be outside the medina and have my own space but it's only a 15 min walk or short taxi to Bab Marrakech. Hope to return again next year!

Single bedside plug but I came prepared this time so it doesn't affect my rating.

I had the whole apartment for myself and it was located close to the Medina but in a quieter area, with some good cafes nearby. The hosts were really attentive and responsible throughout the stay. The shower is nice and warm, though you may need to wait a bit for the hot water to come. There are a lot of blankets if you are cold.

It was incredibly loud, you could hear strong echo(?) from the hallway. The apartment was cold, felt even colder than outside. Heater was offered but at an additional cost of 50MAD/day. There was a weird unpleasant smell during my whole stay even though it was very well cleaned - maybe mold? There was a huge patch mold in the kitchen where particles of the wall were even falling down. I would have liked having tea / coffee / water, there was none of it. I had the room with the terrace, and while the terrace would have been for me only, the host family and cleaning lady were passing by, so I ended up not using it.

Hot shower. Areal around is not so busy like the Medina. You have everything you need

Apartamento aconchegante e bem estruturado. Cama confortável, chuveiro quente fomos em janeiro e isso faz diferença, porque estava bem frio.

Escolhi o apartamento com terraço que é ótimo, contudo se não for usufruir recomendo pegar um andar abaixo principalmente se tiver com malas, o acesso é por escadas.
