Jays Apartment - Colombo 02 at the heart of convenience

It was clean and they had everything you need.washing machine ,cooking facilities and the place was clean and the staff greeted with great hospitality.

The building is very crowded.had to get on the lift with great difficulty.the lift is always crowded and there is bo specific queue .the stronger person gets on first.but some people we met on the lift was very friendly.most of the people smiled.

This is a great location and a really fun place to stay, in a high-rise full of extremely friends locals. Jay sent very detailed instructions, with photos, of how to find the apartment upon arrival, and the caretaker was waiting there to meet me, so it was all very easy. I loved having this space to cook and do laundry and relax (with a/c!) in between bouts of being out around town. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

Bed comfortable but pretty short.

Kitchen is extremely dirty. Everything is sticky from oil. The fact that everybody has to sign in with their passport number and they leave the book in the apartment (I obviously took my page out because I don’t want all the future guests to have my passport number!!!.) Extremely noisy, there’s a mosque literally the next building, the train tracks started at five in the morning until 1 AM, then general building sites which is going to be on for the next few years and other people parting in the building until 1 o’clock in the morning. extremely slow elevator that when you’re going up to the 19th floor stops at every floor with people getting in and out so just leaving the building. Takes 10 minutes every time.

The apartment was absolutely satisfying and worth. The apartment is always clean, maintained well. All the basic daily essentials are available. The dining view is stunning the place is very quiet and peaceful. The Owner was very supportive and welcoming including the care taker making sure everything is available.

The lift takes a little bit longer but the facility is good.

The host, Jay was really great at communicating everything all the time. It was a little hard to find but the caretaker was there to greet me and help with things. The location is pretty good if that's where you want to be in Colombo. A/C and everything was great. Close to the shopping center and beach.

It's a little hard if this is your first time to Sri Lanka and Colombo. I'm sure Jay can help with things, I just didn't want to bother him too much. The WiFi wasn't working great for me but everything else was good.

Good view being on 19th floor, close to Galle Face, apartment complex self sufficient with super markets, pharmacy, Cable TV with wide range of channels

Noisy: close to mosque multiple high volume prayer calls via loud speaker , early morning call at 4:45 am. Noise from elevator operation and low volume mosque preachings. Payment: Full cash payment at check-in. You are stuck for the whole stay duration. Need to consider linen/ cleaning charges. WIFI: Slow. Common areas : smell of non-veg cooking.
