State Apartments

Bojan and Danijela were lovely hosts. Especially Bojan! He picked me up when I arrived and also dropped me off at the airport. A cake made by Danijela, awaited me in the apartment which was a really nice warm welcoming gesture! State Apartmant is located in the quiet neighbourhood of Krivina Ljutica. The apartment itself was bright, spacious, clean and from the balcony had great views of Kotor Bay. Nearby the apartment are 4 local supermarkets and a bakery. To the bay, it's a 10 minute walk which offers plenty of places to dine and drink. Kotor is the BEST location to stay as a base for exploring around Montenegro. It's such a beautiful town with lot's of history and things to do along with great transport links to visit other towns.

I didn't always have running cold or hot water in the apartment! Nor was I given a proper explanation for the cause. So things like, showering and cooking in the apartment was difficult to do during my stay. I wasn't happy about this, as it gave me set backs during holiday and made my stay in the apartment quite uncomfortable. I assumed, it was due to issues related with the piping system OR the water facilities was turned off in the apartment, during my time there. As I've not seen other guests leave reviews about this problem during their stay. A compensational discount was given to me towards the rates, for the inconvenience caused. Lastly, the apartment is located on top of a small but steep hill and is a 20 minutes walk to the old town.

The location was ok, it wasnot crowded and noisy and we enjoyed it.
