Apartment Maja

The flat is a very good size, clean, close to the beach, shops and old town. Nice, clean bathroom, comfortable living room, with big flat screen TV, blinds, air conditioner. Dishwasher, washing machine. Transfer from the airport was good.

The accommodation was self-catering but we could not use the oven because it had no oven door. On Booking .com it showed a photograph of the front of the flat which looked ok , but this was an old photograph and did not indicate a construction site and building of a multi-story building within 3 meters of the flat. The builders started heavy construction at 7am every morning including Saturday and Sunday and did not finish until evening. The noise from the site was unbearable, one evening after a nice day out we decided to sit on the balcony , but unfortunately the builders were pouring concrete until 8 pm on a Saturday. We did were not informed that all construction works start 1st of October and will end 1st of June. We understand that it was not owners fault, but we booked a quiet flat in a quiet street how it was described on the Booking.com and we had expected relaxing holiday. To be fair all center of the Budva is a big construction site now.

Excellent location, within an easy 15 minute stroll to the Old Town, shops and services nearby. The communication was superb. The apartment is spacious with parking space and balcony.

This was the second time I have been to this apartment. Great location, friendly and helpful owners.

perfect location 10 minutes walk to the beach but nice and quiet at night. A lovely restaurant directly opposite. The owners of apartment Maja are 2 of the nicest people you will meet, answered all our questions promptly when we arrived earlier than expected we messaged asking if it would be possible to get the keys early it was no problem they meet us within 15 minutes.The apartment itself was spotless equipped with everything you could need and the air conditioning was amazing. we would definitely book apartment Maja again if we return to Budva.
