Vilnius Collegium Apartment

To say that it is a bad choice is to say nothing at all. I recommend to avoid it if it is only possible unless you want to spoil your holiday. Here are few (but not all) things that i would like to mention, however, there are many more: 1. Horrible smell from the sewage (unfortunately, water smells the same - i do not want to imagine if they both are mixed at some point); 2. The place is full of mold and it is everywhere - on the walls, bathroom, behind the sofa, etc. 3. It is cold and humid like in a freezer and one battery in the living room cannot even heat it, not talking about the "bedroom", which has no heating at all. 4. The pictures do not correspond with the reality - they are done some time ago, e.g., bed in them are in the place where the kitchen is located at the moment. 5. A bed was broken, we had to sleep at the smelly coach at the entrance, where the curtains were broken as well (it is a first floor). 6. Place has inside doors to somewhere, which might be locked from one side and you never know who will visit you at night. Not to waste the time - it is the most creepy and ugly place we have ever stayed with booking. We had to move from it after the first night as i have an allergy on mould (of course, the owner, who seems only to be available few hours a day and communicates like a jerk, kept the money also for the second night), but in any case that would be a torture to stay there for another one. Avoid it at all costs if you do not want to ruin holiday!

I liked that there was contactless communication with the owner but at the same time the owner always replied fast through email and gave clear instructions about how to check in and out. The location is perfect, there is everything necessary at the apartment and a good WiFi. If I ever have to go to Vilnius again either for work or personal reasons, I would definitely try to book the same apartment. Also, the apartment is very big and I believe it would be very comfortable to stay there with a friend or two.

It was a bit chilly at night but I didn’t have time to ask the owner whether it was possible to turn up the heating. However, I don’t think this is something I didn’t like, rather something future travellers should consider - it’s an old place and also very large with high ceilings, so it’s totally understandable why nights might be colder than expected.

Perfect location in the city centre with a parking in the yard. There were dishes, microwave oven, kettle. First floor.

The apartment is very spacious and large, has an ideal location. It's an old town, but very quiet. Nearby are shops and cafes.

There is no stove in the apartment, only a microwave. In cold weather it is a little damp, but there is heating.
