Marko is one of the best hosts we have ever met in many years of travelling around the world. His nature cottage is a really special place, overlooking the mountains around Skadar Lake. Great value for money. Marko has excellent tips for hidden jewels in the area. His sister Marina organizes excellent boat tours on the lake with lots of information on culture, history and bird watching. We rented the 2 studios as a family of 5 persons. Don’t forget to taste the local wine and go for this place for an amazing stay at Virpazar!

Breakfast was great and was served on our terrace at the time we wanted. Marko has an amazing own wine, gives very helpful advise (boat trip with his sister is highly recommended) and overall is a very sympathic host.

We stayed for 4 days in the apartment from Marko. What a beautiful place and a great host, he makes the difference! He gave us great tips for beautiful hikes and places to visit. He arranged a boat trip with his sister, that we enjoyed very much! His mother prepared carp for us, delicious!! We liked his apartment on the ground floor and the wonderfull view. A quiet place where we heard only bird sounds....We liked everything but without any doubt Marko the most!!

More than words! Marco and family will offer you all the best the region and their family can offer. The dinner made by Marco's mom was wonderful-local fish with vegetable and Marco's vinery's 2018's best production..and Marco's sisters guided tour at 7 in the morning is more than words awesome. You will want to stay more, two nights is not enough to enjoy the love and care the family will give you! Marco and Marina- all the best to you! We will remember you always with warm heart and love! Our son Mikij is your fan Nr 1! The passion and love this family taking care of their visitors is just beyond words! Marco's family shows the best of montenegrians can offer you! We didn't want to leave.. ever :)

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The location is excellent for exploring the region - you can cycle and hike right from the door. The terrace is great for enjoying meals outside and the view is stunning. We really appreciated the free bike hire and how accommodating Marko was in general. We had a traditional Montenegrin breakfast one morning too, which we enjoyed.

There are a few small things in the studio which need fixed/updated, but Marko is aware of this. Blackout curtains would be good for the terrace windows.

Marko the host was lovely, he was so helpful and gave us a little tour of his winery with lots of interesting facts. The accommodation was so peaceful and relaxing.
