Lake House Buric

The location is very beautiful. The lake side was quiet and peaceful.I really enjoyed staying , and I also did canoeing. Thank you so much to the owner .

Amazing view, far from other people, nice hosts

- scenic place by the lake with unique view - comfortable baby bed - possibility to rent a motor boat by the owner to explore the lake

- not suited for a family with kids in my view - the parking situation is really dangerous . even if it was transparent in the photos it is just not a real parking space and it’s another thing if you have to carry everything from luggage to your own baby every time over a VERY busy fast street AND a rail road right after - not up to the expected cleanliness standards - very simple in terms of amenities - not even a coffee machine or water heater

The atmosphere of the lodge was amazing, so peaceful! From the first minute we arrived, we were greeted with the view of the lake and the sounds of the birds. We even got to see some pelicans 🙂 Ivana (host) met us at the lodge and showed us round, made us feel welcome and was very friendly We were able to utilise the host's kayak for a small fee (20 euros per day) Sunsets were superb ❤️ Plenty of fly spray, candles and mosquito repellant were supplied

Other reviews have mentioned the parking. I'm glad we had a small car (Suzuki Swift) so could park it in the space between the main road and the cliff... It's tight though! There was no kettle when we stayed

Ivana was super devoted and helpful! The communication was easy and whenever we needed something she made it work! She lead us the way from the airport :) The view from the terrasse is stunning! Makes you not wanna leave the appartement and just watch!

You should keep in mind that the road and a railway are right next to the appartement. So it can get a bit noisy. But for us that was not a problem :)

So beautiful. Through gigantic window when the sunrise wakes you up the first thing you see is natural scenery, and at the night moonlight reflection from lake is putting you to sleep. Unbelievable terrace with the perfect view, 50 meters from the Lake. Just perfect! The best thing is that at the property there are kayaks you can rent and explore Lake on your own. We did that every day and didn't even leave the place at all. The owner was kind enough to show us perfect places for swimming in the lake, so we didn't use the pool. It was so great that I can't believe that this property for this value even exist. The cherry on the cake was just cought fish that owner was kind enough to share with us, which finished on the property's barbecue later that day. I strongly recommend! The Lake House is a wonderful basecamp for exploring the Amazing Skadar Lake region. You can't get any closer to the water, and the owners of the unit have some two-seater kayaks for rent. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and storage for food and there is an outdoor BBQ area. Plenty of towels and cleaning supplies ... really, EVERYTHING you need. There is a good-sized refrigerator and the wifi is fast and stable. In the summer, the local roads are lined with fresh fruit stands, melons, peaches, cherries, berries and in the heart of summer, the most amazing figs you've ever eaten. The deck is shaded by grapevines and looks out over an amazing wetlands full of egrets, herons, ducks and other birds. When I arrived, the host gave me If you're coming by car, get some details on the parking before you arrive. The hosts are kind and generous and very responsive to questions I stayed for 10 days in August and it immediately felt like a home away from home. I will definitely be back.

There's nothing that could be better, in my opinion, but I will say that this is not a standard hotel and you have to be a bit adventurous and open-minded to enjoy this incredibly unique spot because it is NOT a drive-up hotel and it does take a little bit of work to get to the front door, but it is totally worth it once you're here.
