The view was outstanding, during my stay I loved starting and finishing my days taking it all in by the window. The flat is clean and tidy, the kitchen is well-equipped, the property is well-located and easy to find, with nice restaurants nearby and a 15-20min walk to Old Town. Having a bike freely available also made it super easy to explore the bay, and cycling was one of my favourite things to do during my stay. Highly recommend a sunset bike ride towards Ljuta for golden hour. And the host family are the absolute highlight - friendly, welcoming, keen to help you have a great experience, no request is too much, just all round wonderful people! Cannot recommend this place enough and hope I get to return in the future :)

The WiFi was a little unstable at times but a quick reset would get it back again so it wasn’t a problem for me at all!

Absolutely brilliant. It's a place ran by a couple and their cat 😂. They love what they do. You rarely get anything like this in any hotel. They look after you like they want you to enjoy your journey fullest, will provide you with anything (bikes, extra towels, soaps) whatever you need. A welcome bottle of wine (probably because we stay there for a few nights) but everything is awesome. Location is just staircase away from the sea. The photos you see, yes it's exactly like that.

Nothing. Their cat (Mako) can be unfriendly sometimes lol. But he is living, enjoying his sun and don't want to be bothered.

Everything. We've recently returned and had a lovely stay at Sunny Bay Apartments. The apartment exceeded our expectations and The Owners were really Friendly and Helpful! We were able to use their bikes to cycle up the bay and offered us lifts where needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to Friends and Family visiting Kotor. I didn't want to leave. Thank-you. I would also recommend The Local Restaurants over the one's in the Old town.

The view from our apartment was breathtaking, every single time we looked out the window it felt like the first time. It was absolutely beautiful. Our hosts Sanja & family were the most loveliest people we have ever met, she has the biggest heart and couldn’t have made us feel more welcome or our time there more special. She picked us up from the airport with welcoming arms and left us some drinks and snacks in our apartment for when we arrived. Sanja truly made saying goodbye hard and I think when you find someone and a place that makes it hard saying goodbye it truly is special. She even brought us up pancakes on the last night which were our favourite food! Everything felt so safe and special to us. We honestly couldn’t fault the property, it was beyond our expectations and an apartment you’d dream about staying in. It was cosy and truly felt like home from home. The bed was super comfy, everything felt so homely for us. We can’t wait to come back soon, home from home <3

A week-long stay at Sunny Bay Apartments exceeded all our expectations! The apartments are located just 300 meters from Virtu Beach, making it the perfect spot for a seaside getaway. The view of the garden and mountains from the window created a unique atmosphere of coziness and tranquility every day. The amenities in the room were top-notch: a spacious living area, well-equipped kitchen, and private bathroom added comfort to our stay. It's important to mention the care for guests — cleanliness, fresh linens, and towels were always impeccable. I can't forget to mention the garden with barbecue facilities — it was the perfect place for evening gatherings with loved ones. The location of the apartments is also convenient for exploring the surrounding area. A big thank you for the care and creating a homely atmosphere!

Facilities are nice and clean, there is heating inside the bedroom. Because there're three of us so Sanja nicely put extra pillow and bedding in the room before we arrived. Also they prepared some wine and drinks for us which is soooo good, because we can't find shops anywhere. In all, Sanja and her husband is a lovely, caring couple and they made me felt like home❤️. They also have parking spot and a variety of toiletries.

I have been travelling for 5 months, and Sunny Bay is my number one pick of the trip. The location is perfect, and the view is spectacular! The apartment has everything you need for a wonderful stay; the bed is comfortable, the wifi is great, and the air conditioning is effective. The extra touches really set them apart; they included some welcome gifts of juice, beer, wine, biscuits, muffins, toiletries, and slippers. The apartment is located directly across the road from the water. You can jump in from the jetty or choose one of the many swimming spots nearby. Old town Kotor is about a 20-minute flat walk or a quick bike ride, with bikes supplied by the hosts. There is a supermarket and many restaurants nearby. Sanja is an amazing host. She goes above and beyond to make your stay special. They were very kind to pick me up and drop me off at the bus stop. Sanja made me feel like family. I will definitely be back again. I miss our adventures, Sanja.

Location was amazing even in all weathers, walking distance to centre but away from the crowds, choice of good restaurants nearby. Apartment very well kitted out - everything was remembered including generous welcome gifts. Sanjay is the hostess of the mostess! Her guests are her priority - she goes way beyond to ensure everyone is having the very best time, an absolute gem!
