The apartment was spotless and very well located. The best part of our stay was meeting this wonderful family who showed us great hospitality. The dinner and breakfast was the best food we have had while in Montenegro. The sunrise boat trip with Luka a must do. Thank you for sharing your special town with us.

The dinner in the evening was absolutely amazing as was the boat trip and the breakfast in the early morning. The family was really kind and took such good care of us, it was truly amazing.

This property had everything we could have wished for! Large room with all facilities, great location and even more worth mentioning, amazing hosts! We had home cooked dinner every evening with home made wine for just 10 euro a person. Also the breakfast was delicious and was just 5 euros. The hosts were very helpful and really want to help you with everything. Would recommend to stay here a 100%!

We'd read the amazing reviews of this place before we arrived and wondered if it really could be that good. It is! Just wish they had more availability so we could have stayed longer but only rent out one part of their house so you're lucky if get to stay here. Everything you'll read about this place is accurate. The hosts make this place extra special. They go above and beyond what you would expect. Firstly, Virpazar is a lovely spot, very calm, small and scenic. Apartment is a great and also in good location and quiet. The views from the garden where you can eat are beautiful, you can watch the house martins nesting on the wall one way, the lake and vegetation in the other direction. Vesko and Sneza truly are amazing hosts who want to ensure your stay makes you feel like you are at home. They leave various homemade drinks for you when you arrive (wine and liqueur), along with sweets and fruit. There is aircon so even if it's hot outside, you are cool in the rooms. Recommend you do the 6am boat trip for 2 hours (50 euros) with their son Luka, if you're lucky like us you will see the white pelicans but even if you don't, there's a serene beauty to the lake at that time in the morning that makes it worth it. Sneza along with her niece make beautiful breakfasts and will happily cook an evening meal for you (just 10 euros, happy to adapt for vegetarians). 5 mins walk to a supermarket, less to the couple of restaurants in the centre and not far to walk to a view point. Definitely recommend this apartment. We arrived by train but the track from the train station to Virpazar is not smooth plus it's about 20 mins walk from the aerodrome stop to the airport terminal so we paid Sneza and Vesko to take us to the airport. We got to enjoy their company for a bit longer! Just wish we could stay longer but we'll definitely be back. You deserve all the positive reviews you receive.

Very nice, helpful owner. Welcome coffee and lemonade. Wines for tasting. Tasty, hearty breakfast overlooking Lake Skadar. Possibility of a fantastic trip (only for us) on Lake Skadar (the hostess's brother) - paid additionally - it's worth going in the morning, when there are no crowds yet

Clean, tidy, welcoming. An ideal place to stay to explore the popular nearby lake and mountains for a few days. Or do as we did, stay for the whole week and use it as a base to explore further afield. It really is a great location with half a dozen restaurants and bars locally, that is if you can pull yourself away from the fantastic home cooking of the host, and the amazing view from their lakeside table. The evening meals, and breakfasts are incredible here and well worth booking! Oh and the early morning boat trip on the lake (skippered by the host’s son), is unmissable! And if I haven’t said enough, ask the host for recommendations of places to visit… a treasure trove of ideas!

For the price - absolutely nothing to grumble about from me!

The stay was great. The couple who own the apartment are very nice people who love to host and give a homely feeling. They offer breakfast and dinner for an additional fee and it is not expensive and it is highly recommended. They were also very considerate of our kosher limitations and agreed to cook the food in the pan we brought with us. We booked in the morning for an additional fee a cruise on the lake with their son and it was a great experience and highly recommended. It's a great way to stay where you experience the place and feel like a local.
