The staff, the location, the historic building, the breakfast, aircon, the décor, all great. We stayed in a ground floor apartment, which had two floors, great use of space. Very clean, quirky and cool which was a life saver in the July heat. Not much natural light as looked into an inner small hall but every effort is made with the complicated light system and electric curtains. We sat on the inner glass balcony on the comfy seats and admired the stonework while we cooled off ready to go out again. Staff so friendly and helpful, breakfast basket is a must had everything from fresh milk,juice,bread,pastries,cereal,yogurt,honey,fruit,cheese,ham, boiled eggs....yeah just get it you won't be disappointed! kitchen and breakfast bar good too.

Shame no external view or more natural light, goes with the nature of the historic buildings I guess and makes sense to be cool, if there was a roof top terrace or small balcony it would be perfect. I decided it wasn't necessary as were out so much and only stayed 3 nights which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to the staff especially the lovely cleaning lady, sorry I didn't get her name.

We were warmly welcomed into the apartment by Cecile, who was helpful and answered all our questions. The apartment was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated throughout. The excellent restoration of the original architecture added to the charm of the apartment. The breakfast was copious and delicious also. We had a very pleasant stay!

Our only issue with the apartment is that it needs better soundproofing.

The location was great. The host was easy to contact.

Due to the type of building, there was no air flow through which meant it was quite damp and towels etc wouldn’t dry.

Loved this apartment, built in the 15th century, the building still holds it charm, lovely limestone arches upstairs, the nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen in an apartment, lovely small balcony .

I loved everything about the apartment, just have ear plugs if going for a siesta as there might be church bells or cannon fire near by😊

Everything was absolutely amazing! Perfect location & value for money - rooms are more luxurious than in any comparable hotel. Hosts very kind and approachable (without imposing). Highly reccommended!

Prime location in valletta. Very stylish decor. Very good helpful hosts. Superb little beach and snorkelling area 3 mins down the road.

No little coffee table beside the upstairs armchairs, which made playing cards or eating difficult.
