Dragon Nest Apartments

The property is in city center . Close by waterfront and other sightseeing places are walkable distance . Very close to main bus terminal . Where one can get bus to whole of Mauritius .

There is no lift .so carrying heavy luggage through the small corridor and the stairs is difficult. No proper entrance to the place . The place from outside doesn’t appeal to be an apartment .

The staff were very nice. Warren the owner communicated well with us. His staff Doni and Elodie were very nice in welcoming us. The taxi driver Jameel who brought us to the airport for our departure was very nice too.

Fabulous location and very spacious

No one on site but they were very easy to get a hold of. Thee was a fire at night a half of a block down he street from us and while we were aware of it they messaged us within 5 mins of the fire trucks arriving.

Apartment was clean and in general a good state of repair.. The owner was there to greet us on arrival and briefly identify the apartment and security procedures. It was a reasonable 10 to 15 minutes walk to markets and harbour area.

Apartment was accessed through a narrow alley which in the daytime was almost fully obstructed with fast food cabinet and tables. Two flights of very steep stairs made access to the apartment with luggage very difficult. At night time the alleyway was crawling with large roaches and on one occasion a rat. The area is very run down and few restaurants are open after 18:00 hrs.

Vey noisy neighborhood. Different to what is shown in the uploaded photos.

Clean and comfortable.

Concrete stairs, not suitable for elderly people.
