Luxury beach house with spectacular sea view and pool

-Great apartment and my favourite spot is the terrace with all the privacy you need as well as a fantastic view and comfortable furniture -Each room has a bathroom: master bedroom with a huge walk in closet and a gigantic shower,guest bedroom with a separate bathroom. -Big kitchen-but it needs some love to be perfect direct access to a small beach and a clean and beautiful pool area - nice living room which we never used due to the terrace -private parking,covered from the sun -neat waste disposal room in the area -WC in the garden -super clean -nice towels and white beds -big comfortable wardrobes -hoover to clean from sand and dust!!!! -absolutely amazing friendly and helpful host!such a kind person!!this is Mauritius!

I found only one big minus and that is the furniture on the terrace.The pillows smell as if they must have been washed 2 years ago. Please wash them as often as you can! The rest are recommendations to make the word Luxurious valid: -change the silicone in the shower -add plates and cutlery: now there are 4 plates and 4 forks etc. and a huge dishwasher. We ended up washing by hand because you cant survive with 4 plates if you want to use the dishwasher.You also cant cook a dinner for 4 people with so few of them unless you start the dishwasher almost empty after each meal.Really invest a little into kitchen appliance's -fix the loose door handle on the main entrance door -the windows are not sound proof so only the people sleeping in the master bedroom get a decent sleep.You can hear the crazy dog barking on the other side of the street and all cars and trucks driving by The apartment is very nice but needs some maintenance to fix the worn down things

Whoever stays here needs to have a car to get around.

We spent a week at the Luxury Beach House in Trou aux Biches and loved it! To be clear, it is an apartment in a small, gated complex. Parking is safe, secure, and free. The beach view is AMAZING!! We had breakfast on the balcony every morning. The pool is wonderful, and beach access is only a few steps away. If you like to travel away from the big resorts, this is the place to go. It is about an hour's drive across the island from the airport. Even though we arrived after 10:00 PM (2200), the owner (Doo) met us with the keys and a smile. He is super easy to work with and so helpful! A supermarket is 5 minutes away, and the most charming, hospitable, and delicious restaurant is right across the street. Highly recommend!

The elevator to what we Americans would call the 2nd-floor is very small. As a traveler with disabiities, I had forgotten that 1st floor doesn't mean the same thing. Thankfully, it fit my manual wheelchair but just barely. It's no reflection on the rental, just something to be aware of if elevator access is important.
