Apartamento Africa

Exceptional place to stay. Very quite neighborhood, just a few minutes from the main avenue and the bus station. Very comfortable, all the family loved it.

Large, v. clean space. Convenient walking distance to downtown, Chedraui, good tour operator, ADO station, and middling restaurants in La Cañada tourist ghetto. Friendly goats across the street. Hosts helpful. Well equipped outdoor kitchen with a laundry line.

Neighbourhood dark (but safe), lots of semi-aggressive dogs. Bring a small flashlight & maybe a stick.

The bedroom is big with comfortable beds and functioning A/C. The bathroom is not great, but ok. Compared to other options in the town, it's good price.

It should have been stated in the description that the kitchen and table/chairs were on the back patio in the open air with bugs and dust and not in the room, it is not possible to understand this from the photos. Also, there were workers working in the garden (separated from the patio by a makeshift curtain), and it was not very pleasant to use the kitchen and patio in these conditions. Location is far from the center and not in a clean neighborhood. You can hear the chicken noises constantly.

The Africa room was really good - so spacious and the kitchen which is under cover and outside(!) is really well equipped and very clean. The bedroom has two comfortable beds and shower has hot water! 👍Not everywhere we have stayed in our tour in Mexico has 😡 Very large supermarket within a few minutes walk. Our reason for staying is that we wanted to be near to the Palenque Ruins which is only 20 minutes drive.

Don’t be put off by the rather run down location as once you are inside you will see that it is a very good.

Lovely apartment with good A/C, the outdoor kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Check in instructions were clear. It is about 10 mins walk down hill to the ADO bus station.

Strange smell in the bathroom, assuming it is because of the lack of ventilation in there.

Nice little apartment, cool private outdoor kitchen on the balcony, good A/C, good WiFi, close to colectivo to the ruins

Without the A/C the room and bathroom had a very musty smell

The apartment is very very beautiful with outdoor kitchen that i personally loved Good position, a/c ecc everything you need The loaner is very responsive and kind

Very cosy and have everything needed. Freshly renovated. Is close to the touristic Center. The host is very nice.
