"Funky renovated loft space in central historic district - safe and quiet"

Clean and quiet room in a funky renovated loft style building central to all major museums and shopping district.

The check and check out procedure needs a serious overhaul. My friend stayed in the room next to mine and was exhausted after traveling all day and there was confusion over his arrival time because he was delayed. When he checked out - because he was so tired on arrival - he lost/misplaced the little slip of paper that confirmed he had paid a $100 deposit for his room and the staff member was delaying us leaving because they wouldn’t give us the money back without the slip of paper receipt. Thank goodness my wife is fully bilingual and was able to intervene and fix with the staff for him to get his $100 deposit back - even if it invoked a photo of my friend having to be captured!! If they can improve the check-in and check out procedure and have staff on hand at all times to help you with luggage up and down the stairs this venue would get excellent scores - it’s an area they need to improve
