"Terrible experience at 13th Residence Manhattan Suite ITTC, Penampang. (Units 16-17)"

Location

Terrible experience. Units 16-17. Check in for 2 nights (27-29.01.2025) with family and small children but unfortunately 2 nights in a row. Imagine that in the middle of a deep sleep, the electricity supply suddenly goes off at exactly 2.00 am until 9.00 am. Strangely it happened 2 nights in a row at the same time as the night before. It's surprising because it only happens in that unit while other neighbors have no problem. When a complaint was made, the owner instructed us to change to another unit on the 13th floor at 2.30 am but the facilities provided were only basic. What is suspicious is that it seems to have been planned by the owner and it is possible that there are tenants who have gone through the same experience before. After checking out on 29.01.2025, I demanded to get the RM100 deposit back, but the owner promised to return the deposit after 7 working days. Unfortunately, until today 9.2.2024, my deposit has not been returned. I tried to contact the owner many times but no answer. I sent a message via Whatsapp but there was no reply and even all the records of the conversation were deleted by the owner. I plans to make a police report and extend the complaint to the responsible party.

House was clean

What did they not told you that the deposit will only be refunded after 7 working days from you check out. Mine after 3 days I try to ask about the deposit refund then they told me need to wait 7 days. During check out they should have stated this to the customer.

Nice stay. Complete facilities.

Time to check in quiet late - @ after 3pm. Time to check out - @ 12pm standard, if late extra charge. Refund of deposit take too long to process - 7 days working days 😔

Clean, well furnished

Was told to check-in at 4pm, when it said 3pm in Booking.com. Then when we arrive there, have to wait another 20 minutes before being allowed to check-in. That is my only gripe. The rest is good and recommended.
