My stay at this unit was quite disappointing overall. The main issue is that the place feels poorly managed and not properly maintained. From the moment we stepped in, there was a strong musty, damp smell throughout the entire unit, which made us quite uncomfortable. The interior and facilities also seem neglected. The wallpaper is peeling off, and many kitchen utensils and dishes look quite old. The cooking pots are yellowish, and some of the cups were not properly cleaned — one even had toothpaste stains left by a previous guest. The bathroom also had an unpleasant odor. Even worse, the small window in the bathroom was designed in a way that people from the upper floor could easily see inside. The host tried to block it using an old, smelly bath mat, which makes it impossible to open the window — even when the bathroom smells bad. Some of the bathroom fixtures are rusty as well. The air conditioner in the only bedroom seems a bit pld (the controller has turned yellow), and its cooling performance is poor. We left it running the whole night, and it only started to feel slightly cool around midnight. Another inconvenience is that the unit only has one bathroom, which can be troublesome for families. Lastly, there was even a used towel hanging on the back of the room door — clearly left by the previous guest and not removed by the host. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Another thing that really made me feel uncomfortable — even a bit disgusted — was the condition of the swimming pool at Atlantis Residence. I stayed here about two years ago, and back then the pool was in great condition — clean water, well-maintained facilities, everything looked nice. But yesterday, all of that was gone. The pool water now looks dirty and cloudy, and I could even see saliva and phlegm floating on the surface at times. As for the pool facilities, many are broken or poorly maintained.
