The only complaint we have is regarding the heating system during the winter months. Our stay was in December when it was cold outside and the temperature inside was 15 degrees when we were greeted by the host. Also the thermostat is set to 15 degrees by default and it will reset to this value if it doesn't detect any movement, so if you are out for the day and come back in the evening, you will have 15 degrees inside when you get back. We had to wait 5-6 hours for the temperature to reach 21 degrees so we could undress our jackets. Because of the thermostat being motion activated, the heating stops after 60 minutes of not detecting any movement so, when you go to sleep, the heating will stop and the set temperature will revert to the 15 degrees default. By the time you wake up, the ambient temperature inside would be 17 degrees. For the price that we payed, this is unacceptable.
CAVery comfortable and cute place in Oud-Beijerland with friendly and helpful hosts. Well located and has everything you need, even for a longer stay.
Our stay couldn't have been better. For people with reduced mobility the stairs you have to take up to the apartment might be a problem.
CAExcellent hosts, we even had a nice coffee with them. Met us with the keys and they let us know where all the local stores were.
