Holiday house in Lofoten

We arrived late and the kind host left the door open to welcome us. The wooden interior was very comfortable. The washing machine was a great help. I enjoyed the midnight sun while waiting for the laundry. A very special experience.

Everything was perfect, we could use the barbecue in the garden, all we needed was there. Very quiet, very nice place to stay.

This appartment is self contained, offering parking and a good location in walking distance to the town centre and the sea. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us and the appartment was well equipped and clean. The owner was on site if needed and there were no problems when we arrived later than expected.

Nothing

Great facilities available- two bedrooms with two single beds in each which had decent blackout curtains for the summer sun. Well equipped kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, and full fridge and freezer- great for self catering. Nice living area and also has a washing machine. The place was very clean. Short walk to local supermarket and very quiet area to stay but nearby everything. Self check in but host saw us arrive and greeted us and was very happy to answer any questions. We sadly only had one night here but would be a great base for multiple night stays. Able to park the car in a designated spot off the driveway so it isn’t on the street. Wifi consistently worked well.

The only downside was the European more open shower with only a curtain enclosing the shower area with the toilet so the toilet and lots of the floor also gets when when showering. Although a bath mat and towels and hand towels were provided so we were able to use one of these to dry the floor as needed around the shower after use.

We were positively surprised, and exceeded our expectations. Sparkly clean, kitchen fully equipped, dream location and great value.

Some noises from the above floor during the night but that is just because I am a light sleeper.
