The Dunes At Fitzroy Beach Unit 1

The location is amazing

The bed wasn't so good, the sofa bed was terrible. I don't go on holiday to do dishes, needs a dishwasher. Given it was very wet and windy, not having a dryer to dry clothes after washing was inconvenient, washing wouldn't dry on the rack. The noise from neighbouring units wasn't great in the morning and the lack of privacy was disappointing. The place has potential but needs some tweaks and clever landscaping.

Outside light no working

Location was close to the ocean and fitzroy beach. The place had mostly what we needed. A washing machine is available which is a bonus. The hosts were good with communication prior to arrival.

The sheer blinds in the living need a clean and found the fridge hummed loud when trying to sleep. No shampoo and conditioner, only body wash.

Good price but did expect to be able to see the sea / dunes … with the name

Good location

Check in process. Had to ring company in Australia to get door code. Had to wait an hour after check in to get the code.

The Dunes - excellent quiet location. Accomodation always clean, lovely shower, great linen, easy off street parking and we will return next year. Our third stay at The Dunes, love everything about them.

We liked the street, proximity to the beach and diary on the corner. Nice to have an outdoor deck to sit outside.
