⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Stay Filled With Aroha, Comfort, and Stunning Views Our stay in Taipa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by our hosts with genuine aroha and manaakitanga that immediately made us feel at home. Their warmth set the tone for a truly memorable visit. One of the unexpected highlights was their charming secondhand shop, where we found some beautiful treasures to take home each item carrying its own story and adding to the magic of the place. The venue itself was immaculate. It smelled fresh, clean, and inviting the moment we walked in. The view overlooking the sea was absolutely breathtaking the kind of view that makes you pause, breathe deeply, and feel grateful to be there. Every detail of our stay was thoughtfully considered. The shower pressure was perfect, The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us restful sleep and leaving us feeling recharged. We also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the sense of care woven into every part of the experience. It’s clear that our hosts take great pride in creating a space that nurtures, restores, and welcomes all who come to visit. We left feeling uplifted, relaxed, and grateful. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay that blends comfort, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality.

If there was a downfall, it would be simply that we couldn't stay longer. We genuinely didn't want to leave.

Very peaceful and great location for Doubtless Bay and Mangōnui. Nice walk down to Taipa Beach from the property. Great views for sitting outside and enjoying the views. The apartment had everything we needed for cooking and a very comfy bed. Sharon and John were attentive hosts and the shop next door is an Aladdin’s Cave of tempting things for the home.

Welcoming hosts, great location, excellent facilities!

Spacious and great for 2 people. The unit was very clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. Great area for touring the Kari Kari peninsula and Cape Reinga. Lovely. sitting in a lower seating area in the garden with a wonderful view. Shops at Coopers Beach were nearby and convenient.

I am sensitive to strong smells and found the oil burner in the room overpowering. Easy fix, I located it outside for the duration of our stay.
