Ruby Bay Loft Accommodation

Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful facility with an awesome view. Rose and Pat are outstanding hosts, from good advise on local landscape to a great breakfast to friendly conversation. Best place we have stayed in in all of New Zealand, and that is saying something.

Everything was perfect.

Nice view of the ocean in the distance. Comfortable apartment and bed. BBQ worked fine. Great location to drive up to Abel Tasman national park for the day, including the pretty beach at Kaiteriteri. Smallish convenience star close by (by car).

Hosts need to provide microwaveable containers to cook vegetables etc. Luckily we had our own but others might not. Also, providing literature to guests on best local places to eat, shopping, and things to do in the region would be a plus. We knew what we wanted to do and so that was not a problem for us.

We were delighted with the breakfast, tea, coffee and especially the Whittaker's chocolate! The view was lovely. The whole place was really comfortable and exceeded our expectations.

As soon as we arrived, the place was stunning and super inviting. The views were amazing, and the location was perfect. Rose is clearly big on the finer details, like having some beautiful Nelson produce and treats along with a lovely continental breakfast options in the fridge, the soaps in the shower were carefully selected NZ products that I am going to have track down for my place. They were great. The bed was excellent, large, and comfortable, I loved the black out curtains and layout. Rose and Patty were extremely wonderful hosts very easy to talk to. They offered recommendations and knowledge of where to explore in the area. We would love to visit again sometime when we are child free for a weekend, we will be recommending this place to anyone visiting the area. Happy New Year to you both. The only critique would be the decking area is exposed in bad weather. a sail or pagola is underway or in the works already and that will take this property to the next level having a bit more outdoor coverage !

Nice location out off town. Loved the sun deck. My ferry was delayed but Pat stayed up late to show me the apartment and carry my heavy suitcase. So nice! There is a barbecue outside where one can also cook.
