Miraflores Frente al Mar

LA UBICACIÓN Y EL EQUIPAMIENTO

El Dpto estaba muuy frio, nos proveyeron, amablemente, de forma inmediata, un calo-ventor. Creo que debería equiparse con un aire acondicionado frio-calor.

Localização perfeita. Anfitrião muito atencioso, foi ótimo conosco. Predio logo na frente do parque, próximo a vários pontos turísticos.

Colchão muito mole, deu uma certa dor nas costas.

Muy ruidoso, tanto de autos, runners, o grupo de amigos, al estar frente a un parque, al orillas del malecón a toda hora de la noche/madrugada Frío en las noches, si bien en invierno hay un clima agradable en la zona, al ser vidriado, con ventanas no herméticas y frente al mar, se sintió frio en las tardes/noches. No contaba con calefacción que funcionara. La cama para mí hija, incomodisima.

Wonderful location facing the sea and the view from the apartment of the sea and the beach is lovely. The staff was wonderful. The center area and restaurants are about 200 meters from the apartment. Highly recommend

We were blown away with the huge, clean windows that looked out over a beautiful, very active park. The views were exceptional. It really was "frente al mar." The ocean/cliffs were a 1 minute walk away; Uber was easily & quickly called to the street below. I think you could call taxis as well, but we didn't use them. The owner gave us good instructions via whatsapp & was available by text 24/7. There was a good small cafe/bakery with food all day via a 5 minute walk, as well as a little bodega conveience store and at least one restaurant. Larcomall with more restaurants/shops was a 5 to 15 minute walk away if you needed anything. The apartment was very nice, comfortable, and equipped with everything (and more) than we needed. I liked that you could open a few "windows" in the large glass "wall" to get a nice ocean breeze. The owner, and person downstairs 24/7, were helpful. The bed was quite comfortable. We certainly felt safe in this wonderful area of Miraflores. Lima central's traffic made it staying there impractical. Here we could walk a few minutes to see parasailers take off, kids playing near the lighthouse, & people walking, exercising or walking their (numerous) dogs. Wifi was good. The only possible negative was that the apartment is on a street with (at least Christmas week) a good amount of traffic at night, so there WAS some noise. It didn't bother us, but if you're sensitive to noise, it might. And if you're a little shaky on your feet, or a very large person, you need to be careful getting in/out of the bathtub/shower. We had a wonderful surprise on our second night. We heard commotion, looked down the street, and found Santa and beautiful Christmas music coming on a fire engine! We waved from the apartment & Santa waved back - magical! In the morrning we had early flights home and took Uber to the airport.

As indicated above, there was some street noise - but not much that can be done about that. We still slept well, and absolutely loved the views from the apartment.

The host was at the property to meet us and provide keys. Private elevator directly into the apartment. the apartment was directly opposite a park adjacent to the sea. Fabulous views of the sea and passers by. Apartment was clean. Crockery, less clean - especially the pots.

I have used booking.com for several years at least 4 or 5 times per year. this property requested cash payment in USD. there were no credit card facilities. a toaster would have been nice as well as tea and or coffee for at least 1 day as well as salt and pepper

Somewhat dated decor, street noise.
