The location is definitely the strongest asset of this place. It’s very close to the beach and situated in a quiet area,

Unfortunately, the downsides significantly impacted my stay. The huts are extremely dark, which already makes them feel a bit uncomfortable. I stayed in a non-air-conditioned hut with a fan, but the fan was simply not effective enough. Even though I’m used to sleeping with a fan, this one couldn’t keep the space cool at all. It was very hot during the day—so much so that it was impossible to stay inside—and still uncomfortably warm at night, making it difficult to sleep. The biggest issue, however, was the strong smell of cigarette smoke inside the hut. At first, I thought someone might be smoking outside (there was some construction work happening nearby), but the smell persisted throughout the night. It became clear that someone had likely smoked inside the hut before, and the odor had deeply penetrated the walls. It was very unpleasant and made me feel physically unwell. I asked the staff the next morning if I could upgrade to an air-conditioned room (and was willing to pay the difference), especially if it didn’t have the smoke issue. I was told there were no rooms available, which is fair—but the suggested “solution” was simply to keep the fan on, which did nothing to help with the smell. In the end, I decided to book another accommodation and paid for an extra night elsewhere, as staying there was not an option for me. The staff member I spoke with was polite but not particularly welcoming, and there was no attempt to offer any alternative solution, compensation, or effort to retain me as a guest.

Mike de eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en helpt je met alles. Zo heeft met ons meegedacht over een dagexcursie (enorme aanrader) en hebben we scooters via hem gehuurd. De locatie is goed. De huisjes zien er schattig uit.

Doordat er geen airco is maar alleen een ventilator is het wel warm in de kamer. Maar dit wisten we bij het boeken.

Het lag heel fijn tussen het dorpje en het strand. Rustig, geen lawaai van verkeer. Kon van guesthouse scooter huren en kreeg tips voor bezienswaardigheden.
