MYLocation is very good. Only 5 minutes drive away from town. There are famous ikan bakar eateries nearby. The traffic light entering Tanjung Lumpur can be a very long wait. Host is amazing and attentive. Very clear instructions for check in. Rooms are very clean. Appreciate the beautiful interior design and amenities including fully functioning kitchenette, oven, Coway water dispenser, TV with Netflix, YouTube etc. The view of the Kuantan river flowing into the south china sea is gorgeous. Infinity pool is beautiful.
Crowd was too huge during peak hours at the pool. Try to avoid peak hours (5-7pm) The personnel in charge of the pool station was rude bad disrespectful. I couldn't understand the need to check out swimming attire as part of SOP. But his obsession to ensure that I don't wear my existing shirt into the pool was overbearing. Not to mention touching my children's swimming suit to check the material. I would highly suggest the management oversee this particular personnel and reviewing SOP as some of these may be construed as harassment. Gym equipments are old and some are not functioning.
