Super nice people. Host and owner very nice! Very pro active. Gave us the codes. Wonderfull appartment. Stayed in Selva on the ground floor. Very nice. With nice garden. AC, fans, cooking facilities, coffee machine, mixer. Everything we needed. And very quiet. You hear no traffic. Perfect for a writer.

Very good location, well stocked kitchen, a variety of places to choose from to sit, comfortable bed. The people in charge are very accommodating and friendly.. We loved the place and highly recommend it. It is unique.

The shower was eclectic like the whole place was, which is great, but we would have preferred something more traditional and functional.

Pool und Garten sind wirklich nett

Haben für ein Paar+17Jährigen gebucht - es gab aber keinen Schlafplatz für ihn (zumindest nicht ohne Aufpreis). Angeblich war dem Vermieter das Alter unseres Sohnes nicht bekannt (dass wir ein Kind dabei haben interessanterweise aber schon). Ein 10 jähriges Kind ist auch ein Kind und braucht einen Schlafplatz- woher die Annahme, dass es sich um ein Baby handelt? Absolute Frechheit! Daneben muss man in dieser „kreativen“ Unterkunft schon mit tierischen Mitbewohnern und Baustellenflair (siehe Fotos) rechnen.

It’s truely beautiful, unique jungly feel. The owner is really kind and helpful.

The lovely jungle garden is beautiful but unfortunately it means it’s a mosquitoes heaven.

The apartment was decorated uniquely with an artsy vibe, comfortable bed, everything meticulously clean. The hosts were always very prompt responding to questions. The cleaning staff was friendly and thorough. Ten minute walk to the historic center. Neighborhood felt quiet and safe. Overall really nice accommodation.

Wonderful garden, delightful decoración through out the house. Community áreas that encourage interaction with other guests - nice for solo traveler

We had the La Selva apartment which had a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and outdoor eating area in the garden. It was very peaceful and private. Our room had access to the plunge pool which was a great relief from the heat. It was like a home away from home with lots of cooking utensils, a stove, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. We stayed for eight nights and were pleased to have the facilities for cooking. The apartment was colourfully decorated with lots of quirky Mexican additions that I loved. Note that the room isn’t serviced and that suited us perfectly. Don’t let the exterior area put you off, once you step behind the security doors another world welcomes you.

The hot water came in very slowly in the shower, but that is to be expected in Mexico. The Santiago area we stayed in was quite a walk from the main area and cafes and restaurants. If it wasn’t so hot we could have walked a lot more. Each day was 38degrees c .

We had a fantastic stay in the Jungle room (La selva). The funky decor and fixtures throughout the room and building were very unique and provide a real wow factor. It was great to have a full private kitchen which was well stocked with crockery and utensils. The apartment is substantial with both an indoor and outdoor seating area, which was great for breakfast.

The garden area is a bit wild, and the plunge pool wasn't particularly clean or appealing.

Only complaint is lights left on all night in patio which also light up the room with no real way to block off to make room dark...bring a sleep mask if you like to sleep in the dark.
