Appartement Mes Amis Delft

What a beautiful property right in the heart of historic Delft. It faces the canal and is within minutes walk of all the sites; the Nieuwe Kerk and the Oude Kerk and the market square. On Saturday an antique/nick nack market was held right outside. We loved our stay. Despite being central it was quiet in the evening and early morning. I loved having an early morning cuppa sitting by the window watching the world go by. It was spotless and the beds were comfortable. We loved our stay and consider ourselves very lucky to have stayed in such a historic property.

There was nothing we didn't like. This is observations that might assist other travellers. The apartment has a number of steep stairs. I would suggest this is unsuitable for the more immobile and also I would be worried with small children as there are no bannisters. Perfect for adults. The bathroom sometimes had a bad "drain" smell but this is an incredibly old building!

This apartment was one of the best that I have ever rented. It was spacious and very clean. The location is perfect and easy to access. I would definitely stay here again. The hosts were flexible with arrival times and accomdating.

My only minor suggestion is to offer a small second fan for the smaller bedroom. The larger bedroom had a nice fan.

Location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted (shops, restaurants, tourist attractions etc) Host gave free coffee pods, even pancake mix.

Nothing (If you can't climb stairs you won't be able to live there).

A lovely, comfortable, well equipped apartment in the centre of Delft. The owners were friendly and helpful and we very much enjoyed staying there. Great view over a canal with lots of street life going on. Walking distance to everywhere, including the station.

A word of warning.... the stairs are not very suitable for people with mobility problems and the bedrooms are quite light, so light sleepers should bring a mask.

Well laid out with everything you need. Great location.

Not really the property’s fault, got woken up by very drunk and loud people on two of the three nights (Fri, Sat) leaving nearby pubs

Not a problem for us, but note that there are two steep sets of stairs.
