The central location was brilliant. We walked almost everywhere because most attractions (and the train station) are within easy walking distance. There is convenient parking nearby, and also on-street, right outside the apartment if you can get a space. The apartment is clean and tidy, and has a good socialising space both indoors and outdoors.

The small, open-plan kitchen is not so well equipped for cooking family meals - there's a microwave oven with only one shelf, and an induction hob. Food preparation space is also limited. Whilst we enjoyed our stay immensely, I feel this accommodation is best suited to adult parties rather than family (although the host accommodated for my young family needs excellently) units, and guests who are expecting to eat out or get takeaway more often than cooking.

Spacious and clean apartment. Conveniently located in the center of Alkmaar. Our host Diwa was friendly, helpful and responsive. Kitchen was very well equipped. Comfortable beds, good bathroom.

The (ground floor) apartment opens directly on the street, which can be very busy and noisy if you are in the living room. Windows in the bedrooms could have helped.

Bath towels were too small

It was close to the centre of town. The reviews from previous guests was extremely positive.

I liked everything.

Studio very nicely furnished.. kitchen well equipped. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere of the rooms. at night quiet and peaceful. Staff very polite, our caretaker explained everything to us and showed us free parking for which I thank her very much I recommend to everyone with a clear conscience.
