Mooie schone cottage, rustige omgeving, leuke zithoek buiten.

Een douche/wc is eigenlijk wat weinig als je met meer dan vier volwassenen bent. Maar dat wisten we vooraf.

we were four motorcycle travellers and arrived after a very very windy and wet four hour ride. I'd dropped my bike at the raised street entrance (more later) but as we arrived Erik met us at the door and immediately said he accepted the fact that we were literally soaked through and just asked us to keep dirt to the minimum but knew that it was going to be tough to keep everything dry. He showed us around the house and started the pellet burning stove, and put on a pot of coffee. He recommended restaurants nearby in walking distance. He also moved the garden furniture so that we could leave our motorcycles close. It was raining, we definitely wouldn't be using it. Our breakfast the next morning was amazing, pastries and bread (freshly baked) several jams, peanut butter, cereals, yogurt, fruit, meats, cheese, nuts, freshly squeezed orange, various coffees and brought more fresh 20 minutes later. As mentioned above I dropped my motorcycle on the raised street entrance, this resulted in snapping my clutch lever. The next morning we were going off to source a replacement in Breda, we were going to use the cycles that are available however Erik took one of our party to the identified shop, no success but they recommended another one and made a call in advance. Erik then took us to the new shop, translated the problem and couldn't have been more helpful. I'm sure at the very least we'd have taken all day without his help if we'd have been successful at all. Very very appreciative of the welcome, the care and the extreme help we were given. We were able to continue our journey and tour. Absolutely recommend the cottage, the facilities were everything you could need and more besides, the beds were comfortable and clean, the bathroom was clean and shower gels were provided, towels were beautifully clean and soft an all round great experience and booking, at a very good value price.
