Citystays Deventer

Locatie en de grote ruimte. Het comfortabele, brede bed.

Gehorigheid. Als gasten van kamer(s) naast ons thuiskwamen, leek het alsof ze onze deur binnenkwamen. De vloeren kraakten behoorlijk bij bewegen door de ruimtes.

The accomodation has a great placement at a very silent, calm street. A few steps and we are among the wonderful historical streets. The river is very close too by walk. I have to highlight our host's hospitality, let me thank it again. He kept amenity and caring with high priority. He always provided quick answers and asked during our stay whether do we need anything. The accomodation was equipped with everything that is needed for spending the days there. Deventer is a wonderful city, i wish i can visit it again, including Citystays accomodations also.

The sound/noise can be heared among the rooms but it wasn't a real problem because all the other guests and we were attentive for each other.

Great location, easy walk to town centre and very close to the river.

Convenience to the city centre and being able to go to the accommodation early. Stephen (host) was very communicative and you got instructions promptly on your day of arrival.

Citystays have several apartments in Deventer. The photos of the room that I booked did not relate at all to the presented accommodation. You never know what you will be getting until you arrive on the day. It was essentially a room within a flat. There is little or no sound deadening between rooms (so you can hear everything your neighbours do or say). There is also very poor quality ventilation in the room. The kitchenette is barely functional and there were holes in the wall in the fixtures and fittings where the WiFi router was located. Whilst reasonably presented, the general ambience felt poor. The place might be okay as a somewhere to put your head at night and for one night only and if you weren't planning to spend time in the room, but suggest looking for other accommodation if spending longer in Deventer.
