Het Pakhuis Schiedam

We had a wonderful stay at Het Pakhuis in Schiedam. The neighborhood is beautiful, with canals, lovely shops, and many restaurants of all kinds nearby. The location is perfect for walking around and enjoying the atmosphere of the city. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the house and has a very beautiful and original design, full of charming details and thoughtful decoration. It felt cozy and comfortable, with high ceilings that made the space feel even nicer. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave, coffee machine, a nice assortment of teas, and a mini fridge — everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was also very comfortable. Fred was extremely kind and welcoming. He waited for us on arrival and showed us everything in the apartment. We really appreciated his hospitality. Highly recommended!

Le logement, l’emplacement, l’accueil, la découverte du centre-ville de Schiedam, … tout était génial. Même au-delà de nos espérances 😀

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Mit Liebe renovierte alte Lagerhalle mit schöner Ausstattung in ruhiger Lage im historischen Teil von Schiedam. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Ein Tandem war zur Nutzung bereit.

Nicht ganz unerheblich, aber auch wirklich der einzige Kritikpunkt: Mir waren die Matratzen zu weich.

Great location - within a couple of minutes of the shops and cafes/restaurants in Schiedam and easy to get into Rotterdam. We used it as a base to go to Delft, The Hague, Gouda etc and it was v easy to get around The flat was v clean and tidy, lovely decor and comfortable for 3 of us. Kitchen was small, which wasn't a problem for us as we weren't properly cooking. The host seemed friendly and helpful.

Great location. Responsive owner. Nice quirky accommodation.
