In the heart of Narvik !

Nice clean apartment,

No elevator, so we had to drag bags up 4 flights of stairs. Also it is not a 2 bedroom apartment. It is one bedroom with a loft bed.

The place is very cozy, we slept very well and felt like our home. Plus the location is in the central of the city. The owner reply very fast when we need to ask questions

Spotless place, very beautiful and cozy.

As a starting point, we do not like to stay in downtown areas, but this apartment looked good, and there were lots of extras. Positives were good communication with the host, comfortable bed, and nice modern facilities. Well decorated. Everything worked well, the apartment was clean and, except for the Saturday night street celebration which went on till 3:00 a.m., pretty quiet. People considering this place should be aware of a few things. First, the second bed is above the living area loft, with steep stairs that I would not consider using at night. The stairs would be a problem for kids and mature adults. Second, the apartment is on the fourth floor (no elevator), and had no view to street level (only windows in the roof). Third, there is no freezer for making ice. I don't think I've ever stayed in an apartment that didn't have a freezer section in the refrigerator. Another plus is the host's help in securing off-street parking nearby.
