Amunds Apartment

This ideal apartment combines style and functionality, featuring simple, user-friendly kitchen appliances and furniture while making the most of the charm of the historic, antique building. Every detail of the room, aged gracefully over time, is picture-perfect. From the windows facing the alley, I could feel the breeze and take in the beautiful greenery, while the kitchen window, which offers a partial view of the harbor, allowed me to enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere and the sound of foghorns. Just being in this room allowed me to fully immerse myself in the charm of Bergen. Communication with Amund and Greta was excellent and truly heartwarming. I am a traveler in my 60s who loves traveling alone, and while I had thought this might be my last trip, after actually staying here, I found myself hoping to somehow return to this city and this apartment. Thank you, Amund and Greta, for the wonderful travel memories!

I liked the area - not too far to walk into the town centre and yet away from the crowds. I was in a ground floor apartment, so no view, but it had all you need and I would stay there again

L'appartement est très bien situé, dans un vieux quartier de Bergen qui a beaucoup de charme. Arrivée facile

Les propriétaires ne se sont pas présentés. 2 problèmes d'alarme en 4 jours, sans raison, ça fait beaucoup, (pas d'instruction' propriétaires non joignables...) surtout la dernière à 6 h 00 du matin. Il y a peu de vaisselle pour cuisiner, pas de couvercle ni de couteau de cuisine de taille normale. La maison est très vieille, il n'y a aucune insonorisation si vous êtes dans le studio en bas et on ne vous le dit qu'au dernier moment.

Compact but well appointed apartment with all you could need. Cooking facilities were adequate for our needs. Great location on a lovely cobbled street with views over the harbour. Short stroll into central Bergen for rextaurants and shops and only slightly further to Bryggan and the Flambana station.

On one occasion we couldn't get the door iopen using the code given. Another resident arrived and had the same problem. However it was resolved by giving it time to reset before trying again.

Schöne Wohnung im hölzernen Altbau im Stadtzentrum von Bergen. Gute Ausstattung, bequemes Bett, netter Ausblick auf den Hafen.

Die Wohnung ist ein bisschen hellhörig, was man aber natürlich vom hölzernen alten Haus erwartet.

Interesting locality - good for centre and port. It was warm, bed was comfortable , water was hot. The hosts willingly stayed up for a late arrival.

The stairs were tricky with luggage and not easy for older people. The bathroom was very small and the towels rather worn. The property is traditional but needed a bit of a facelift and some deeper cleaning and clearing up - especially in the kitchen. There was a bit of a pantry which was thoughtful but everything just seemed to have been ‘left over from other travellers’ and didn’t appear very hygienic.

It was quiet and not far from the city centre

There were things either unfinished or a bit shoddy in the bathroom. One door wouldn’t close and one of our views was the owners building materials and ramshackle deck. We were not informed of these things beforehand. The stairs to the laundry were dangerously steep.
