Reasonable pricing for a ‘home from home’. The hosts were responsive when we asked questions and requested a street level flat to accommodate our bike boxes. We had space for everything and felt like ‘living’ in Bergen.

It was a bit of a long walk from the train stop with our bike boxes, but we knew that! We couldn’t get the tv to work. And as it’s an old property you do hear noise- the main and apartment doors opening, shutting and walking up the stairs.

I liked the apartment's layout, looking out at the view of Bergen harbour from the kitchen table, the big bed (very comfortable), the Nordnes neighborhood, and the house's proximity to the sentrum.

The only negative was hearing the upstairs neighbor/guests coming and going, but it wasn't a problem.

The hosts communicated well with us, and accommodated an early check in which was very much appreciated. We arrived to Bergen by ferry from Sogndal and it was a short walk from the pier. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. Very easy to access extra towels or other important items. Location was excellent - a quiet street very near the city centre and Bryggen. Walkable to most everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed lunch at Lovetann Cafe down the street (great option for vegetarians) and seeing a movie at USF Verftet, both within 3 min walk either way.

This room is very small - fine for sleeping, but not the most comfortable if you want to relax and hang out. There are laundry machines in the basement which is useful, but the basement itself is very old, which means extremely narrow stairs, and huge drafty gaps to the outside world - I can only imagine what kind of creatures can easily crawl around that space.
