Fjord Apartments

Lovely view and a great value.

Apt 225 is well maintained and nicely located on the water front. There is one bedroom on the ground floor, that can get noisy when the neighbours come back late and talk just in front in the window. Two bedrooms upstairs ate nicer. Shop nearby on the way to Rosendal. A very good Thai take away in the next village in the other direction, next to a Spar.

Because of a double booking issue, we had to stay one night in Apt 160. It says that there are three bedrooms, but one is actually just part of the entrance hall, and linked to the kitchen. Also, it's very close to the road. Very strange electrical setup : one switch for all the common rooms. I would not recommend that apartment. Also, bed sheets don't fully cover the diuble mattresses, which is a bit strange.

The location right on the fjord is great and you can park right outside the property. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was useful.

I stayed in apartment 160, I’m not convinced it is used much as a holiday rental. It felt like someone’s make shift office, there was even a photocopier in the living room! The bed was not comfortable, it was basically a sponge block and the blinds were old didn’t really block out any light. Would not recommend.

Perfect apartment and view, it has all you need

The owner was knocking the door at 10:30 in the morning, he looked through the entire apartment for a clothing drying rack for the neighbour guests. I suggest it would be better to find a drying rack at the store, instead of disturbing guests who are on holiday early in the morning, i had to jump out of bed to open the door. Annoying.

The location is everything! right on the fjord, just perfect to go outside or sit on the balcony. The apartment itself had everything that we needed and all worked perfectly. We were family of 3 and it was very spacey and comfortable. Also, the host is very nice.
