Beautiful apartment in central Leknes

Nice kitchen and modern feel to the apartment.

The double bed was the bottom bunk of the bunk bed, not ideal for adults so my husband and I slept on the sofa bed which was a double but wasn’t very comfortable at all.

Located in a private housing estate, 15 minutes walk from the bus station. We liked this area. We also really liked the communication with the owners - clear, simple and friendly. The apartments are tastefully decorated and have everything you could need. Our recommendations!

Good location

This place is fine for a quick overnight before leaving. It is in a good location and generally fine. Host seem nice and communicate well. I have a couple suggestions for improvement. - put numbers on doors so no confusion which door to go into. - better towels. One we had were old and very thin - bed in apartment not what is shown in pictures

Child’s bunk bed as main bed for adults was not what was shown. One person crawling over the other to get in or out of bed is not what adults desire. Ladder interferes with legs.

While the name suggests 'central Leknes', this isnt really the case imo, its quite a bit on the outskirts of the town, thats not the end of the world though as you have Supermarkets closeby and Leknes as a town isnt the most beautiful anyway

Very good location, perfect for a night before taking an early flight out of Leknes airport.

There was confusion about which rooms to go to.

The room was very nice and spacious and having a portable heater in the room was also good to help dry damp/wet clothing. Very good size TV and private space provided despite being directly located under someone's home! It was good enough for the value of what you are paying for! Host was responsive.

I had a few cleanliness issues that I wasn't expecting. The kitchen sink was not cleaned properly either by the host/previous guest, and the cleaning sponges used by the previous guest was left there which was gross. The cookware had also not been cleaned properly with left over food stains and the frying pan was unusable. A hot water kettle would have been convenient, even though the induction cook top heated food very quickly. I was hoping to wash some clothes but the rubber gasket of the washing machine was covered in disgusting hair which REALLY put me off. One of the shower doors was also not fitted properly and was half coming off and so it couldn't be closed completely, letting water out. Unfortunately due to some issues with Booking.com, I didn't receive the check in details and was left to wait and walk around outside the house for a while and check in time of 6pm is pretty late!

Large apartment very well furnished

Bed (twins) was quite awkward for a couple. One of us (me) had to squeeze under the upper bed and it was not that easy to sneqk out for a biological need during the night

Close to what we wanted to do and see. Private accomodation, come and go as we pleased. Hot shower and good laundry facility. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is very new.

Lacked enough cutlery, only one fork in the drawer. Window blind in bedroom is broken, exhauster fan in bathroom not working. Coffee maker was full of used coffee pods. All minor issues in reality.
