Tekau A charming, quiet and spacious studio

Warm and bed is comfortable

The location is misleading. The bookings map shows no. 4 Thompson St, the address says 10 Thompson St, the actual address is 89 Thompson St. For someone who is not renting a car with kids. It is about 20 minutes with slope road walking.

It was a very cosy clean studio

It was a spacious apartment but tucked away so absolutely no view of anything. On the plus side it was private and quiet. Apart from the dryer of the other next door property going very late one night but the owners/managers rectified this the next day when it happened again.

It wasn't where it said it was on the map so much further away from where we were hoping to be.

Had to ring Booking . Com to find PIN number for lock box. I rang Sweer Home but no one answered and it did not go through to the answering service . Rang 3 time but no one responded . Took an hour to finally get in!! No parking was a real issue. The streets around the complex are all yellow lined!

The room was big and lots of storage

We actually cut our 4 night stay short and moved to another property in Queenstown for the final night, there was so much noise coming from the neighbouring apartment, eg stomping about, talking loudly, putting on the washing machine late at night when we had got into bed. The washing machine was beside the adjoining door of the apartments which had no soundproofing, but was downstairs for them, which meant it was much louder for us! We knew that there wasn't going to be any views with the apartment so that wasn't an issue however there also isn't much daylight coming into the room as the tree outside the door is very overgrown. This apartment would feel much nicer if that was trimmed back a little. Overall it was clean apart from the drain smell in the bathroom, and the bed was comfortable if only we could have had a decent sleep!

Was a bit of noise from unit above but other than that it was everything I needed

The apartment was cozy and clean, a short walking distance into the main downtown area (though a pretty steep climb coming back!).

There was no communication about parking - there did not appear to be anything available for the property, so we had to park on the street and there were no spaces close. Also, very loud people upstairs thumping across the floor well into the night.

Location was great, good communication with the hosts regarding the internet which did not work at first. The studio was clean and had everything we needed for our stay

Parking in the area was not great and it was a little unclear where we were supposed to park. We managed to find a spot down the hill that wasn’t yellow lined so it was okay.

It was well located, not too far from the centre wharf

The separation between the room above and beside is very thin. You can hear people very loudly and they can hear you too. Not the worst, but something to consider. Also the response from the property can be a bit slow. Calling or texting the mobile number results in no answer
