"A perfect place for a 4 night stay, very spacious and comfortable, and fab unique Art Deco focus"

Laurie was so welcoming . It was a great stay for my wife and I over 4 nights. Very spacious, with two separate rooms, small dining area and the kitchen was well appointed with cutlery/crockery etc. The fresh milk on arrival was great and to have continual supply of various tea bag types and small packets of cereals was so convenient . The art deco theme is fascinating, including fittings, wall hangings, lead light windows, bed covers, and many art deco books and historic photos. Laurie has put great effort into what is almost like an art deco museum, plus the space and comfort is great. Aircon and electric blankets to keep warm in winter. Very comfortable stay for us....and the place is spotlessly clean.

Awesome  stay at this tranquil sanctuary,  amidst the Art Deco of the 30s an the birds singing we had a peaceful stay ..I had the best sleep I've had in along time and the  bed an pillows were perfect ..Your host is real welcoming, who has a history of his own , which makes your stay there memorable

"Art Deco experience in a friendly neighbourhood"

Interesting separate apartment that has been loving converted to an Art-Deco theme by the owner. A different experience to the modern locations that we experienced elsewhere on our trip

Need to get in car to go to city or restaurants but the location was quiet.

"Superb"

The staff were really friendly and waited for us for a long time, which we really appreciated. This property has a lot of memories of Napier in 1930s.

The only thing that could have been better was the cleanliness of the bath towels and the bathroom mat.

"Perfect. Not one complaint"

Everything there is not one thing you could complain about. The rooms are even nicer than the photos. And so much detail with the art deco theme. You even have electric blankets. The breakfast choice was lovely especially with the bowl of fruit we were left. Biscuits to have with your tea. Laurie our host was exceptional, full of information and very helpful. Everything was wonderful.

Having to leave.
