Hi. This is a great art deco themed property. Fruit bowl on arrival was a lovely touch, plus other touches like the little bags of cereal and the spreads. The beds were very comfortable. It was very hot (30 degrees) so we appreciated the air con! Laurie was very friendly. Lay out was perfect for us, but just to let some know there isnt a door on the bedroom but the way it is designed is private. Great for families. Photos verr accurate

"An absolutely faultless stay — beautifully authentic 1930s style, incredible attention to detail, total privacy"

I couldn’t fault the accommodation — nothing had been overlooked. The owners have truly thought of everything, and the 1930s style is so beautifully authentic. I spent my birthday here and had lots of family popping in with presents, and we still felt completely at ease thanks to the privacy of the accommodation and its own lovely courtyard. They even welcomed our two Staffordshire terriers! We had a wonderful stay, and I’d recommend this place to absolutely anyone. However you would need a vehicle if you wanted to go into the city.

What a fun and quirky place to stay! It was a lot of fun looking at all the trinkets and design from a bygone era, admiring the art deci windows and reading the special newspaper edition with the photos of earthquake destruction. Tony the host is a hard case! Great place to stay in Napier 😊

Love the deco, it brings you back to the era. The owners are thoughtful, we have snacks, breakfast and fruits for us. The place is clean and comfortable.
