Glenwai

Glenwai is in a superb location - just across the road from the beach. It is a wonderfully tranquil location, with a chilled vibe, which was magnified by having direct access to our host Jenny's beautiful garden - you started to feel good straightaway! The accommodation itself is a thoughtful conversion of an end garage, but it's been cleverly done to create a compact and bijou space. It's very well equipped and it was easy to produce our own meals. The ensuite is a good size also. The bed is very comfortable. Given the price for the room, I think Glenwai represents fantastic value for money.

There isn't really space for luggage, but there is a chest of drawers and a small fold-out hanger. We simply left our suitcases in the car and only took pit what we needed, so for us it wasn't an issue, but it may well be for those who require extensive wardrobe space. I only raise this point for balance and accuracy, and it wouldn't affect a decision to stay here again when in Motueka.
