Everything falls together. Yvonne is an excellent host. She loves the accommodation and it shows. She built it with her own hands. She takes care of every detail. And the location is perfect with a porch adjacent to the garden. In one word A+.

The beautifully appointed unit with all mod cons was situated within an exotic garden near to the waterway. Yvonne our host could not have been more helpful. A substantial breakfast was provided and we felt so at home we did not want to leave!

"Small place in heaven"

The most adorable stay! Cannot recommend it enough. Our host met up with us and gave us the door code, which I appreciate because I'm always scared to forget the key somewhere. She was so sweet and gave us recommendations on where to eat and what beaches to check out. The place is spacious, with ample sunlight. Everything is new. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of outlets. The breakfast was such a lovely spread with access to the beautiful garden. We very much enjoyed our stay!

"Magical memories made here."

On The Point is as near to perfect as you can get. A wonderful setting in a verdant garden with the inlet from the ocean just steps away at the end of the drive. The room is spacious, beautifully arranged and Yvonne had left the fridge and fruit bowl amply supplied for breakfasts during our stay. Whitianga is also a real pearl- lots to do including snorkelling trips and exploring places along the coast.

Our favourite rental property in New Zealand.

Yvonne the host welcomed us & gave us great tips about activities which was very enjoyable. She stocked the beautiful bungalow with fresh fruit, juice , eggs, bread etc. Very special.

"THE place to stay if visiting Whitianga"

If there was an 11 box we would’ve ticked that. An exceptional property… beautiful furnishings, lovely breakfast and other little touches, very comfortable, spotless…. stunning garden. Super-helpful owner… think I’ve run out of superlatives. Just book it!!
