Great location, Vanessa was lovely host

loved the view, the house was amazing on a work trip it really gives you comfort of home. we only stayed a night but it was a night to remember, the house was well set there was, coffee was the best.

I didn't appreciate the fact that we were only there for one night. We really could of stayed another just to fully enjoy that vibe of the whangarei. we couldnt watch tv because it was pakaru, but lucky we can work to do.

The most beautiful home, morning views, so homely & instantly felt relaxed.

My only regret is not booking longer stay. Will definitely be back again soon!

The property was quiet big and comfortable. The host offered everything needed.

The apartment was poorly soundproofed. Unfortunately there were heavy rains during our stay and we could hardly sleep due to the annoying noice.

We spent 10 days up in Whangārei for a training course. Mi Castillo on Hatea Drive turned out to be an absolutely ideal place to make ourselves at home. Vanessa and her family were the most welcoming, considerate hosts and their home is beautifully appointed, perfectly located a short stroll from excellent dining and beautiful forest walks, and well-suited for long stays with a fully equipped kitchen. Although Hatea Drive is a busy road, the property is so cleverly designed that you can sit out on the decks or fully open the bi-fold in the dining area and all you see is sunglow playing on the hills across the river - impressive tranquility for such a central location and so relaxing after a long, hard day. We loved watching the little flock of rosellas darting about in the trees across the road. Thank you, Vanessa, for looking after us so well during our stay. I hope to stay with you again one day.
