Leaving.

Building material on driveway and entrance area, unsafe walkway to back door, property stated non smoking accommodation but reeked of stale cigarette smoke including all furnishings,like curtains, throughout the apartment including bedrooms. Size was stated as 70 sqm2 but this was not accurate and certainly didn't appy to the indoor area. No recyclable crate provided for bottles and not supplied when requested but states penalty if you don't comply. Insufficient crockery for 4 people. Oven shelving appeared broken with missing components. Walls were marked, furniture stained including carpets and curtains were filthy. Toiletries inadequate. Curtain in one bedroom was off its track.

Access - small spaced paving slabs on cobble stones to the back door access made wheeling luggage impossible. Dangerous broken pallet a trip hazard Bed room too small both sides of bed need table and lamp. No room to put suitcases except standing in cupboard All the blurb sent before was most unwelcoming. Too many “don’ts” Strangers walking around back door No light for reentry in the dark This was the first accommodation where no milk provided Non recycling rubbish bin was full and overflowing

Dark curtained and quiet rooms. Great having aircon.

The access. Rooms small ie not a lot of room to put suitcase.

The property itself was clean and comfortable and easy to find and access. All instructions were clear and precise. Only faults are on the outside of property where there is a pellet on the driveway. This needs to be removed as is definitely a trip hazard. Also stepping stones to house need to be moved closer together and also rested more securely into the ground as also a hazard. We are older generation and these things really concern us. Also we were out late in evening so these hazards are a real problem. Also no street lighting to get back to house in dark and only lighting is at our front door for access.

Proper instructions were given. Keys were locked in a box. Access was via an email with combination.

Once we found the place it was easy to get the key.

Pavers or a path to the front door would have made it easy to get our bags from the car to the accommodation. They didn’t wheel on the stones.

Comfortable for one nights stay at lake tekapo. Easy instructions for check in
