AUAUClean property, location
Owners live upstairs on the property with 2 big dogs who bark everytime you leave or enter the property. They are also very noisy, running around upstairs late night/early morning. They also did not allow any control to air conditioning. Most importantly, they allowed no visitors, which was not stated on Booking.com (only included no pets or children). We arrived on Monday around 6pm with our son, we bought dinner and waited for his coach to pick him up to take him to his new board home. They left together about 45 mins later, in which the coach only stayed for 5 minutes. The next morning I picked my son up with breakfast but was stopped from entering the unit by the owners son. Later that afternoon the lady came and told us they observed people coming and going the previous evening. I explained the situation, that it was my son & his coach. She said maybe if I had discussed it first, as they have had a lot of issues with other guests. I said we had no idea about this NO visitors rule as it was not stated on Booking.com, and we wouldn't have booked with them if we knew. We stayed with several other BNB's and had never experienced this. The next day I asked her if we could have our son visit for a short time, but her reply was that my husband doesn't like any visitors on the property. She was very abrupt and rude. I understand the need for the rule, however not all guests are the same, and even after politely trying to find a middle ground, she was still very rude. Furthermore, we also felt very unsafe as there was no privacy with all doors in the unit having NO locks. This included the front door. Therefore anyone could enter the unit even when guests are inside/asleep.

Only thing was you couldnt lock the door when we went to bed . And having the bathroom not in the room made us a little uncomfortable with someone possibly walking in the front door when u walk out.
