Mokorau Apartments - The Mukies

We loved the location and views. Wished we had another night here and more time to explore. Large place for a family of four. All the household facilities were there and the beds were clean and comfy.

The apartment was excellent, comfortable, and true to pictures on website. The host that we met was friendly, and the hosts were easy to contact with excellent and swift communication. We just had a couple of small problems which were fixed, literally wihin minutes. (nothing much, but this shows the great response). Great views across Shipwreck Bay. We drove down to the beach as it's a steep road to walk back up and we're not exacly "spring chickens", but doable if you're reasonably fit

The window blinds, which are the same throughout the apartment, are like a woven bamboo or similar, and provide privacy during the day. However at night the reverse is true once the lights are switched on, as you can't see out, but anyone ouside can see in, amost as if there isn't a blind, it works the same as tinted windows do. While not a problem for us in the main part of the house, the interior of the bedroom is visible "plain as day" for anyone looking in when the light is on, so some sort of privacy blind would have been good

Fantastic views, quiet and private. Property was large, a home away from home with a large kitchen, dining and lounge area. Perfect for a family.

The location is mind-blowing beautiful. We liked the Apartment. Everything was perfect.

The view is stunning! The apartment is very spacious and fairly comfortable.

Main double bed wasn't comfortable and someone in the upstairs apartment was "rattling around" and this does echo downstairs feeling like someone is almost in the same apartment you are!

We stayed for 3 nights. Exceptional location with spectacular views. Clean, spacious, modern apartment with all the amenities you could want. Bed was very comfortable which can make or break any stay away from home. Owners/Managers were very easy to work with. Very accommodating, responsive, helpful and friendly.

There was nothing I didn't like or enjoy.
