Rooftops Accommodation

Our accommodation was clean and comfortable and had all that we needed for en enjoyable stay. Super location, short walk to the beach and town.

Parking was very tight in the driveway and access to the apartment wasn't the best for my mother who uses a walker.

We found the place comfortable and in a good location. The bedrooms, lounge, and kitchen were practical and had what we needed, and we slept well during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed being there.

I expected a higher level of maintenance. The privacy curtain in the shower room had a rip, which I reported to the owner and he said a new one is being ordered. The kitchen extractor fan grill was sticky with visible grease, and the main entry door was sticking, which made going in and out inconvenient. The owner mentioned a builder was meant to fix it earlier, but it would have been good if this had been checked before guests arrived. There was also noticeable plumbing noise from the upstairs shower. None of these issues were major individually, but together they affected the overall impression.

Fabulous location - easy walking distances to restaurants, cafes, bars and beach. The upstairs apartment has a generous deck and with sea views!

There was much to like however more lighting in the bathroom would be helpful for getting ready to go out in the evenings.

It was in a great location! Close to everything!
