Abbiamo avuto un problema importante fin dal primo giorno: tutti gli scarichi del bagno non funzionavano correttamente. Il bidet, il lavandino e la doccia non scaricavano l’acqua, rendendo l’uso del bagno davvero complicato. Abbiamo subito avvisato il proprietario, che il primo giorno ci ha comunicato che non poteva parlare al telefono perché era via, ma che rispondeva prontamente ai messaggi. In effetti ci ha risposto via chat, dicendo che avrebbe mandato un idraulico. Tuttavia, la sensazione è che il problema fosse già presente prima del nostro arrivo. È difficile pensare che non se ne fossero accorti, soprattutto durante le pulizie, dato che l’acqua non defluiva affatto normalmente. Sarebbe stato corretto sistemare il problema prima di affittare l’appartamento. Anche la pulizia generale non era all’altezza. Abbiamo trovato sotto la cucina un assorbente usato, cosa che lascia perplessi sull’accuratezza delle pulizie. Inoltre gli asciugamani bianchi erano solo quattro per due persone e cinque giorni, e avevano anche un odore non molto gradevole. Va anche aggiunto che non c’era nulla per pulire il pavimento (né scopa né straccio), il che è poco pratico soprattutto per soggiorni di più giorni. Per la mia esperienza complessiva, e considerati questi aspetti, ritengo che questo appartamento non possa meritare un punteggio superiore a 9. È un peccato, perché la posizione è davvero buona, ma i problemi riscontrati incidono troppo sulla qualità del soggiorno

The flat was nicely furnished.

We had 2 major problems: 1./ Although the owner published a telephone number in order to be able to connect with her, we called her several times on our arrival to get to know how the keys will be served to us. She has not answered our voice messages and our written notes either, so we did not have any information at all about how we will get into the building and where we would find the keys. Finally, she sent us an email with the detailes (2 hours later than we connected her by phone), so we were just hanging around and did not know whether we would have a room to sleep in or not. Booking.com offered the same telephone number but she never called us. This is neither practical nor polite. Why did she provide her telephone number if she was totally unavailable? This is unacceptable I think, especially when the city is fully booked around Chrirstmas time so the traveller - who travelled 420 km-s to get to Krakow - was just waiting for information. This is not acceptable in our view. 2./ We had to leave one night earlier, so instead of 2 ninghts we spent there only one despite we booked the flat for 2 ningths and arranged our trip accordingly. We were driving home - 420 km-s at ninght so that we should not spend there the 2nd night. Why? Although the flat was clean, the bed linen and the towels were smelling cigarette smoke,just like the flat. It wa not "fresh cigarette smoke", but "stale" i.e. the person(s) who did the laundry of the bed linen and the towells must have strored those in a place full of cigarette smoke. I am allergic for cigarette smoke that is why I booked a flat asserting my wish that the flat should be a non-smoking one. Altough the roome was claimed to be non-smoking, it was not, as the towells and bed-linen were smelling. We did not get what we paid for, we had to cut our holiday and leave the place - and in Krakow we did not find another one, as everything was fully booked.

Easy to access on arrival. Clean and tidy. Great shower. Love being able to put things in the fridge and cook if necessary. Close enough to the old town, about 20 minutes walk. Little shop opposite. Great internet and TV. Close to buses and trams.

We found it a little bit too warm. Not really a bad thing just our preference.

The place is 15 mins on foot to the city center, the host is very nice, clean small apartment with good facilities.

There is a bad sewage smell in the bathroom, probably due to the lack of ventilation. It is recommended to install ventilation and remove the shower cabin to make it more comfortable for people with XL size :)
