Gdańskie Apartamenty - Old Town Rooms & Apartments

The apartment is very near the centre no taxis required walk to everything Marek was on hand to help he let us leave luggage in his office as our flight was later in the day. The apartment had everything we needed the tv however was in a bedroom which was different.

Remember to ask how many beds you require I missed a message the day before we arrived and not enough beds made up. Duvets and pillows are badly stained they really need replacing the linen had holes too. And the sofa bed needs to be scrubbed as badly stained too. The apartment is in party central nightclub and taxi rank right outside had to close windows to block out the notice and it made the apartment rather hot as the weather was so warm. Bathroom needs new shower head and perhaps a hook so you can stand to shower.

Gdańskie Apartamenty is a super place to stay if you want basic, reasonably-priced accommodation in a brilliant location in Gdansk. The apartment is pretty basic, but is clean, comfortable and has lots of useful provisions, including a fridge, iron and oven if you are hoping to cook and keep costs down. The location is absolutely superb; the apartment is right next to a nice local park, and only a short walk around for the heart of the city and the canalside. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, and it is also only a short walk from a central intersection where you can catch trams and buses going to lots of different areas, including the airport.

The check-in instructions were accurate, but a little confusing, so make sure you read these carefully! Again, the apartment is basic and won't cater for luxury travellers, but it is more than reasonable for the price that you pay.

the most awful apartments I've ever seen with rude and impudent owner. Parking lot is in the neigorhood yard, and you can reach it only after a phone call to owner, also you need to pass two gates with all your staff to get into. There is no lift, so if you are a low mobility person - keep in mind that apartments are on the third floor. During check in we noticed an awful disgusting and annoiyng smell, all windows were opened but this smell you cant even imagine. In the evening after sightseen we back to it and discovered that water is gatering in shower pipes are clogged and draining is working extremely bad. It took 20-30 minutes water to drain just after 2 minutes of shower work. Next day n the morning tried to discuss with owner the smell and draining problems, and he was so rude and impudent, he laughet at my complains about smell, and lied starring in my eyes that there is no smell, and as for draining, he can you some chemistry but it smells and has rist to health, so we need to leave apartments till the evening. That is unacceptable "servis". We tried to agree some repfund and leave. Owner stated that he need to calculate and even did not check a shower left us. After that he started to ignore us, din't pick up a phone, neither from booking support. So we can't even take a car to travel. At 11.51 he texted that only 30% of 4 day stay can be refunded if we leave before 12. And near 20% if it will be next day or later 12. According to booking support owner can offer even 2$ and it will be OK for them to ignore your complains. We had to ask neighbors to open the gate to leave, because owner fully ignored us. Also, floor makes noice when step on it, all kitchen is in old fat, I even din't touch anything. Bed is old and completely destroyed, it makes noice even when you breathe laing on it. Location is brilliant for old town access. We were in the bigger of the two rooms and it was spacious. Secure parking. Comfy.

We came by motorcycle, in August, unaware of Gdansk's town centre restrictions. Location doesn't really work for summer motor access. Also the access instructions were muddled and hard to follow, an editing not a language problem. A few minor faults in the apartment didn't spoil our stay.

The host was super nice and met me for a last minute booking on my part. Good location if you want to party but I just needed a place to sleep for the night.
