Casa James Apartment, Rooms , Pool and Restaurant

Really relaxed and chilled staff was fantastic

The hotel and rooms were amazing

We had a really nice stay at Casa James in Siquijor. The property is well maintained and the pool was always clean, which was great after a long day exploring the island. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We also had hot water, which is not always guaranteed everywhere, so that was a big plus. The location is good too. It’s a little bit away from the main road, which makes it quiet, but it’s only about a 3 minute motorbike ride to get to restaurants and other spots. You can also rent motorbikes directly at the property, which makes things really convenient. Another thing we liked is that there is food available directly on site if you don’t feel like going out. They also provide small but thoughtful amenities like towels, a toothbrush with toothpaste, and a clothes hanger to dry your clothes. The internet was decent, around a 7–8 out of 10. It occasionally cut out, but when connected to the TP-Link network it worked the best. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Siquijor.

A few things we didn’t love: the bathroom felt quite outdated. It wasn’t dirty, but because it’s older it gives that impression. The property also seems to host events and possibly a daycare, so there were quite a lot of kids running around and in the pool, which made it harder to relax at times. The food on site was convenient but more expensive than nearby restaurants and the menu was somewhat limited. We also had a fair amount of small red ants in the room. I understand this can happen in tropical places, but it’s still something worth mentioning.

Schöne Anlage, in der wir ein Apartment hatten. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich und das Essen war gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Unterkunft hat ein tolles Flair, es ist wunderschön da, vor allem auch der Pool. Wir hatten eine einfache Hütte gebucht gehabt.

Der Weg dorthin ist manchmal sehr holprig und vor allem wenn man zur Unterkunft rein fährt. Da könnte man mal ein bisschen den Weg richten. In den einfachen Chalet hat es leider kein warmes Wasser, da gab es auch keinen Hinweis in der Beschreibung drauf, das sollte erwähnt werden!
